Beyond Bowel Cancer Patient Voices Event

The Beyond Bowel Cancer Patient Voices Event on 2 April 2011 will celebrate the achievements of bowel cancer patients, their carers, families and others who support Beating Bowel Cancer. The event aims to make a positive impact on the lives of the people, carers and families living with and beyond bowel cancer. This year’s key note speaker will be Professor Sir Mike Richards, and the programme for the day includes a thought-provoking mix of presentations, workshops and one-to-one advice sessions.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn of developments and innovations in the diagnosis and management of bowel cancer
- Discuss their challenges and support needs
- Learn more about the support available for medical, social, psychological, financial and informational needs
- Take away practical information and ideas to improve the quality of their lives
