Test Community Success

On 14 July 2010 NHS Improvement held a workshop to celebrate the success of the test communities as they completed testing for Phase 1 – New Models of Care and Phase 2 – Assessment and Care Planning.
The day included presentations from the Christie Hospital and Brighton Hospital outlining the excellent progress with their projects, and a personal experience of cancer treatment, highlighting the issues of living with the late consequences of the disease and cancer as a chronic condition. To keep the audience on their toes, the Bournemouth test site initiated some post prandial exercise and the group also had a chance to explore the excellent displays of work undertaken by the test communities in the ‘Market Place’.
